Session: Carpentry + Woodworking, Fall 2024
Builders: 24 middle school students

Description: Our middle school students recently completed a creative and colorful project: designing their very own diorama rainbow light clocks! These personalized timepieces provided a fantastic opportunity for students to let their imaginations soar, blending art, design, and functionality into one unique project. Each clock became a canvas for self-expression, with students incorporating a wide variety of materials and themes—from miniature pandas and glitter paper to Alice in Wonderland figurines, dollhouse furniture, and even intricate beach scenes or cozy fireplaces. The result is a collection of one-of-a-kind clocks, each reflecting the individual creativity and personality of the student who crafted it. Just like the students themselves, no two clocks are alike, making each piece a truly special work of art!
