Session: Protest + Print, Spring 2023

Description: In the spring session, our Protest + Print artists designed multimedia posters to be displayed at the West Berkeley Public Library and the Central Berkeley Public Library. The project began with designs cut from black construction paper which were then burned onto a screen and screen printed in various colorful inks. Each student pulled from different sources of inspiration for their designs, and the folks at the Berkeley Public Libraries were thrilled with the end results. The prints are currently on display in the teen room of the West branch and on the fifth floor of the Central branch.
