Materials and processes: Jigsaw, drill, sanding, paint.
Session: Girl Scout Workshop, Spring 2019
Builders: 6 girls, ages 9-13
Description:
We had a great time with our local Girl Scout Troop, designing and creating signs for the Milo Foundation! Six girls joined us for a weekend workshop to create signage for Albany’s Milo Foundation, a non-profit rescue and adoption center for animals. First the girls drew out their animals, then used jigsaws to cut out their shapes. They used sanding tools to create smooth edges, and finally they painted each wooden creature by hand.
