Womxn in the Woodshop invites adult womxn and gender-expansive individuals to learn the basic carpentry and woodworking techniques and tools in a supportive, creative, and fun environment. Just like with our youth classes, we prioritize safety, a safe and cheerleading class culture, and bringing together diverse cohorts of individuals who can bond while building! This 4-week workshop is a deeper dive into the intricacies of carpentry-based building, resulting in the completion of a personal or community-based construction project.
Upcoming sessions: Friday evenings, Fall 2026 (2 sessions), Spring 2027 (1 session). Registration opens for Fall 2026 on August 1, 2026 via the Womxn in the Woodshop program page.
Cost: $300-$600 on a sliding scale
Enrollment: 12 participants per session, ages 18+
