If you’re build-curious, come see what construction is all about! These three-hour workshops, typically on Friday afternoons/evenings, are a great primer in power tools, carpentry concepts, and the wide world of construction jobs. Participants will learn how to use layout, measurement, cutting, sanding, and finishing tools, and take home a project they have built using these tools. In addition to hands-on work, we will discuss next steps and ongoing program opportunities for folks who wish to further their career exploration.

Upcoming dates: Friday, September 11 and Friday, September 18, 2026. Registration will open August 1.

Cost: $0-$150 on a sliding scale

Enrollment: 12 participants per workshop, ages 18+
