We’re honored to share that Girls Garage is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant! The $20,000 award will support our free teen programming in construction, design, and activist art classes.

“The National Endowment for the Arts is proud to support arts projects like this one from Girls Garage that help support the community’s creative economy,” said NEA Acting Chair Ann Eilers. “Girls Garage in Berkeley is among the arts organizations nationwide that are using the arts as a source of strength, a path to well-being, and providing access and opportunity for people to connect and find joy through the arts.” 

This is the 10th year that the NEA has funded our work at Girls Garage, and we couldn’t be prouder of their support!
