In November of 2022, Founder and Executive Director Emily Pilloton-Lam was honored as a Continuum Fellow by AIGA San Francisco, an award that honors designers and educators who have made significant and impact contributions to Bay Area communities. At the awards ceremony, Girls Garage alumna and ambassador Erica Chu honored Emily with a speech about Emily’s impact on both her life and the Girls Garage community.
