In honor of Women In Construction week, we are delighted to announce new and continuing support from Cello & Maudru Construction, Custom Drywall, Inc., the Eames Institute, Hensel Phelps Construction, Kiewit, NOVO Construction, and Turner Construction who are joining us as Cornerstone Construction Partners in 2025.

These partners help fuel our team, our year-round programming, and our new alumni program. Through these collaborations, we connect our graduates in the alumni program to invaluable employment opportunities and industry mentors, helping bridge the gap between education and career success. Their expertise, from salary negotiation to interview practice and résumé building, strengthens this new program, sustaining this key resource for all our alumni.

We’ve been fortunate to be supported by these companies who have illustrated that they are values-aligned with Girls Garage and dedicated to committing resources to increasing career opportunities for women and gender-expansive people at their companies. Our Cornerstone Partners hosted site visits on their job sites, participated in a panel discussion about confidence, hosted Girls Garage students for internships, and met our students and alumni at our yearly networking event.

We celebrated our first official graduating class in 2020, and since then, we’ve watched wave after wave of talented young people go off to university and other adventures. Through conversations with alumni, who are seeking important connections to career pathways, and conversations with corporate partners, who are seeking emerging leaders, our alumni program was launched.

With the support of our Cornerstone Construction Partners, we’re building a future where girls and gender-expansive youth have the resources, connections, and confidence to thrive in the trades. Together, we’re not just making space in the industry—we’re making sure our alumni are leading the way.
