After-school sessions are 6-8 weeks long, offered in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.

Each sessions offers focused instruction in one skill area. In previous sessions, girls have learned to build and ride their own skateboards, design board games, and construct new furniture for a local women’s shelter.

Advanced Design/Build

For older girls ages 12-16, this advanced class will explore interdisciplinary projects using carpentry, metal, graphics, and fabrication skills. In a 5-week workshop format and as a continuation of our Winter session, we'll use the wood shop, the laser etcher, metal tools, and more to consider more technical projects and problem-solve our way through ambitious building projects.
